“Interpreting Historical Interpreting.” Tunbridge Public Library Sunday Series free 2 p.m. program with living historian and educator Izzy Provoncha, a VT 250th Anniversary Commissioner and Tunbridge Historical Society treasurer, will explore the history of historical reenactment and its role in American memory.

“Back to the Land,” a Tunbridge Public Library Sunday Series free 2 p.m. program. Tunbridge residents including Louise Barreda, Judie Lewis and Henry Swayze will reminisce about their lives near the end of the back-to-the-land movement.

The Tunbridge Conservation Commission’s Winter Evenings: “VINS: Owls & Their Calls” VINS offers a program featuring two live owls and a demonstration of local owl calls. “An Inside Look at Vermont’s Moose.” A Tunbridge Public Library Sunday Series free 2 p.m. program with Josh Blouin, a wildlife biologist with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. He manages Wildlife Management Areas, reviews development projects for impacts on wildlife and their habitats, and supports bear and moose research.

“Preserving Vermont’s Covered Bridges,” a Tunbridge Public Library Sunday Series free 2 p.m. program presented by The Vermont Covered Bridge Society. It was started in 2000 to address the loss of these bridges and to preserve remaining bridges. Tunbridge is one of five towns with five surviving bridges.

The Tunbridge Conservation Commission’s Winter Evenings: “Forests Managment & Water Quality” presented by Dave Wilcox, Watershed Forester Learn how forest management can impact water quality and what the State of Vermont is doing to assist land managers in protecting water quality.
