The Tunbridge Area Cats, TNVR Program (Trap-Neuter&spay-Vaccinate-
This program is not an animal shelter or animal control enforcement activity.
Contact Volunteer Coordinator, Janet Zug, if you are caring for any feral cats, or see any homeless kitties roaming around out there. Janet will start the process to create a plan of action. Each case requires individual assessment and caretaker/property owner involvement.
Captured cats that turn out to be friendly may be available for adoption.(after checking for a microchip and searching for an owner, if applicable). Fill out the TAC Adoption Application if you are interested. All cats offered for adoption have been neutered/spayed, vaccinated for rabies and RCCP, tested for Felv/FIV, and microchipped. Other treatments may have been administered on an individual basis.
Funds are needed for tools, supplies and the veterinarian bills to make this happen for our local outdoor cats. No taxpayer dollars will be used unless voted at town meeting.
This program is intended to focus on the Tunbridge Area and so TNVR projects may extend beyond town borders.
In addition to financing, volunteers are needed to foster cats or kittens that are found in need. Contact Janet Zug if you would like to be a part of this effort in any way, for more info on the process or with any feedback.
