Winter Evenings' featured speaker is Martin Philip, the head bread baker at King Arthur Flour. His book Breaking Bread: A Baker’s Journey Home in 75 Recipes received the 2018 Vermont Book Award and Grand Prize at the New England Book Festival. He will bring bread to share. There’s no charge and refreshments are served.

Reception for the solo show “Coming Into the Light,” by Tunbridge, Vt., painter Anna Ross. The show runs from January 9 until February 25. In addition to the paintings, Ross will share her baked goods and will have magnets for sale.
